CHU's "2026 Campus Job Fair" has gathered 76 companies and public sectors, collectively offering nearly 3,000 job vacancies. A considerable proportion of these are from the Hsinchu Science Park and high-tech related companies, assisting students and young job seekers to connect with the industry early on and grasp employment trends. This has attracted numerous recent graduates and newcomers to the job market, providing them with the opportunity to engage face-to-face with company representatives and gain a deeper understanding of industry development trends, thus laying the groundwork for their future careers. The distinguished guests at the event included Chia-Jen Lai, Director of the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor; Kun-Han Lin, Vice Mayor of Hsinchu City; Chia-Hui Chang, Director of the Hsinchu Employment Center; Da-Wei Wu, Director of the Labor and Youth Department of Hsinchu City Government; and Yi-Hsuan Chen, Director of the Hsinchu City Youth Development Center, demonstrating the concrete actions of central and local governments to promote youth employment.

Chia-Jen Lai, Director of the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor, stated that assisting youth in smoothly transitioning into the job market is a long-term policy direction for the Ministry of Labor. In recent years, it has integrated cross-ministerial resources and invested over 16 billion NTD to promote youth employment−related programs. Despite facing changes in the international industrial environment, the AI and technology industries continue to grow, and campus job fair activities are responding enthusiastically, showing that young people are highly concerned about future employment opportunities. Director Lai also encouraged students to make good use of the employment resources provided by the government, including the "First Job Youth Stable Employment Program," which can provide recent graduates with a maximum subsidy of 48,000 NTD during their job search and employment phases, alongside supplementary assistance for inter-domain employment, relocation, housing, and transportation to reduce the burden on youth entering the job market.

Kun-Han Lin, Vice Mayor of Hsinchu City, remarked that Hsinchu City is a hub of technological innovation and entrepreneurial development in Taiwan, equipped with a complete industrial chain structure and rich higher education resources. The city government continues to collaborate with the Ministry of Labor and universities to assist young people in shortening their job search exploration period and enhancing employment matching efficiency through the campus job fair. Vice Mayor Lin also pointed out that the Hsinchu City Government has actively promoted several youth-friendly policies in recent years and has been the first in the nation to launch the "AI Navigation for Youth Digital Tools Subsidy Program," providing diverse and substantial resources to support youth in becoming rooted and developing in Hsinchu, from entrepreneurial empowerment to job transition.

CHU President Victor Liu thanked the Hsinchu City Government and the Ministry of Labor for their long-term support of campus job fairs, allowing the university to continue developing a well-structured employment matching platform to assist students in smoothly entering the workforce. President Liu also introduced to company representatives that CHU students embody "sunshine, innovation, and π CHU" as their three major characteristics, demonstrating not only commendable moral character but also solid problem-solving abilities and interdisciplinary learning capabilities. In recent years, CHU has actively promoted AI and interdisciplinary learning to enable students from different departments to cultivate deep AI application abilities, enhancing their competitiveness in the high-tech job market.

This job fair includes participating companies from sectors such as technology manufacturing, semiconductors, information services, construction engineering, and service industries. Many of them come from the Hsinchu Science Park and its supply chain systems, providing competitive salaries and comprehensive training systems to attract students to enthusiastically submit their resumes. In addition to job matching, the event also planned various interactive activities, including a full pack of cookies for attending the opening event, the chance to exchange filled-out surveys for animal or vegetable-shaped dolls, and completing stall collection point challenges to redeem stationery sets or food vouchers, along with a draw for 3C products, enhancing student participation and overall event experience.

CHU has long been committed to the educational philosophy of "integrating learning and application, and cultivating industry-academia cooperation." Through industry-oriented courses, corporate internships, project practice, and career counseling mechanisms, it systematically cultivates students with both professional knowledge and workplace readiness. In the future, the university will continue to deepen cooperation with the Hsinchu Science Park and key industries to assist students in achieving high-paying employment, thereby fulfilling the university's core values in talent cultivation and social responsibility.
