Under the bright sunshine and enthusiastic atmosphere, CHU's "Academic Year 114 Sports Day" grandly opened at the campus sports field! This year's event was not only a sporting spectacle but also a feast of creativity and international culture. From fun competitions to formal contests, faculty and students united to demonstrate sportsmanship, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
The creative entrance performances were absolutely spectacular. The Department of Optoelectronics and Materials Engineering was led by their director and teachers dressed as dinosaurs, while students transformed into enthusiastic dancing Teletubbies. The Architecture Department performed the classic anthem "YMCA," while Tourism College students heated up the atmosphere with energetic dances. The competitive cheerleading team's high-difficulty aerial stunts left audiences gasping in amazement. The most eye-catching highlight was the International Program class, which amazed the entire audience with elegant Vietnamese fan dancing, showcasing CHU's multicultural charm.
Fun competitions like "Praying to Gods and Buddhas" and "Tennis Romance" brought continuous laughter, while enthusiastic teacher participation bridged the gap between faculty and students. In the climactic relay race, athletes ran with determination, and even when some fell, they never gave up, fully demonstrating sportsmanship and adding touching moments to the competition. Ultimately, the Department of Optoelectronics and Materials Engineering won the overall spirit championship, with the Civil Engineering Department and the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning taking second and third place respectively, bringing the sports day to a perfect conclusion.
CHU consistently upholds the philosophy of "holistic education," not only emphasizing professional knowledge but also encouraging students to develop exercise habits, cultivating healthy minds and bodies along with positive and optimistic attitudes, enabling every student to shine in both academics and life.
