The latest 2026 QS Asia University Rankings have been released, with CHU ranking 420th among 1,529 universities evaluated across Asia, 30th in Taiwan, and 13th among private universities, maintaining its position in the Asia Top 500. This year's competition was more intense, with 558 more schools participating than last year. CHU still stood out, demonstrating solid achievements in teaching quality and international development.


Despite intensified competition, CHU maintained its advantage in the top 27.5% in Asia, surpassing 72.5% of institutions, highlighting the university's continued efforts in internationalization and academic performance. According to QS data, CHU's "Outbound Exchange Students" indicator improved dramatically by 231 places, demonstrating significant effectiveness in overseas exchange and study programs. In 2024, the university recruited 288 international students and had 257 students participating in international exchange and study programs, actively expanding students' international perspectives.


CHU continues to recruit faculty with international experience, strengthening the diversity and internationalization of teaching and research. The university has long adopted international connections as a core strategy, actively promoting cooperation with overseas sister schools, international study programs, dual degree systems, and industry-academia collaboration. It has also organized QS experience sharing workshops and international cooperation conferences, demonstrating its commitment to strengthening global connections.


CHU will continue to deepen internationalization, actively cultivating talent with professional expertise and global perspectives. Through diverse international exchanges and English-taught courses, students can accumulate cross-cultural capabilities and international experience during their studies, becoming a new generation of internationally competitive elites.
