CHU held its annual "Gratitude Lighting Event," featuring star-studded performances by YOYO Family's Banana Brother and KIWI Sister, singers Li Tsiting, BIDO Tseng Kai-yu, Hsu Jing, and other artists, with popular host DORIS Yang Hsinhua emceeing the event. The opening featured spectacular performances by the competitive cheerleading team and fire dance club, immediately igniting the atmosphere. The event also included super prize drawings with top prizes including the latest SWITCH 2 and AirPods Pro 3, allowing faculty and students to share surprises and joy in a warm atmosphere.

President Liu stated: "The lighting ceremony has been held at CHU for many years, symbolizing three important meanings: blessings, hope, and spiritual inspiration. We wish every faculty member and student health and safety; hope the campus is filled with light and warmth; and remind everyone to maintain a positive mindset to welcome new challenges and opportunities. Tonight, the Student Association has invited many artists to perform, and we hope everyone enjoys themselves and shares this wonderful evening."

This event specially echoes the theme "Gratitude Lighting: Singing the Light of Wishes" with campus singer performances, showcasing the diverse talents of CHU students. CHU Star champion—Indonesian student Lin Wensen from the College of Tourism—warmly performed "Missing You at Night," warming the entire venue; runner-up—Vietnamese student Ding Keyashin from the Department of Industrial Management—brought the Vietnamese classic "Cô gái đến từ hôm qua," conveying gratitude and hope through moving song.

This year's Gratitude Lighting was not only a visual and auditory feast but also a moment for everyone to pause, reflect on the past, and be grateful. The campus lights symbolize hope and blessings, reminding every student to cherish the beauty they have and face future challenges with a grateful heart.

CHU is committed to cultivating students' professional abilities and international perspectives, and through diverse activities, allows students to experience humanistic care and warmth beyond their studies. In the future, the university will continue to create a campus environment full of creativity and happiness, accompanying every student to shine brightly on their growth journey.
