CHU's School of Tourism has achieved another milestone by receiving the "Five-Star MICE Education Certification" from the Asia Pacific Institute for Events Management (APIEM), becoming one of the few academic institutions in Taiwan to receive this honor. This symbolizes that CHU's outstanding performance in MICE education has gained high international recognition.

APIEM Chairman and CHU Chair Professor David Hind highly praised that CHU's School of Tourism has achieved international 5-star standards in curriculum design, faculty composition, industry-academia collaboration, and student practical ability cultivation. He stated: "The five-star certification is not only recognition of the school, but also strong endorsement for students' future career development."

CHU School of Tourism Dean Chang Hsin-Wen stated: "We are committed to creating a teaching environment aligned with international standards. Through bilingual teaching, industry mentor systems, and overseas exchange programs, students can accumulate rich practical experience and international perspectives during their studies."

The APIEM 5-star certification conducts comprehensive evaluations of MICE educational institutions' teaching quality, curriculum content, industry connections, and student practical abilities. Receiving this certification represents that the school possesses the capability and resources to cultivate international MICE talent.

CHU has long emphasized students' holistic development and career competitiveness. Through collaboration with international organizations such as APIEM, it actively introduces the latest global MICE education concepts and resources, hoping to cultivate future MICE leaders with innovative thinking, sustainability awareness, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
