Dr. Hung-nien Hsieh, Vice President and Dean of International Affairs, noted that although it was raining on the day of the event, "blessed rain brings a prosperous year." In Taiwan, rain substitutes for snow, wishing students good fortune in the coming year as they pursue their dreams. This year, the school partnered with the Chung Hua Hong Zong Traditional Culture Promotion Association to prepare abundant gifts for students, hoping that through annual exciting events, they can foster mutual care and experience the joy of giving and happiness!

Amy Chuang, Head of Student Affairs in the International Foundation Division, pointed out that this year's event saw enthusiastic participation, attracting nearly 300 international students and teachers from Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, and other countries. This year specially featured Chinese language teachers showcasing their guitar and singing talents, letting students see a different side of their teachers and strengthening teacher-student relationships. The event included a lucky draw with many prizes, and students wrote Christmas cards in Chinese to send photos to their families, sharing joy and sending greetings to loved ones far away.

A Vietnamese student, Nguyen Thi Ngoc, expressed her joy in participating in the event. She mentioned that while studying in Vietnam, there were few opportunities for extracurricular activities. Since coming to CHU, she has been able to participate in various celebrations, from Chinese New Year and Dragon Boat Festival to Western holidays, alongside international students from different countries. Everyone feels like family together, and she deeply cherishes this feeling.
