CHU Vice President and International Dean Hong-Nian Jie of Chung stated that the university is like a second home for students. The aim was to help students feel the love from CHU and fall in love with Taiwan through this warm atmosphere. The university will provide a diverse and forward-looking educational environment to create a brilliant future with students from around the world.

Amy Chuang, Head of Student Affairs at the International Division, explained that after enrollment, Vietnamese freshmen will study at the Chinese Language Center for one year, completing 720 hours of professional Chinese language courses. Upon passing exams, they will enter undergraduate programs in Optoelectronics, Industrial Management, and Tourism. The three departments arranged for senior Vietnamese students to help their junior compatriots adapt to the environment, helping these foreign students feel secure and reduce homesickness.

Tourism College Dean Xin-Wen Chang specially invited Ambassador Bo-Xiu Chen, who served in Vietnam for 9 years, to share experiences in fluent Vietnamese and encourage students to overcome difficulties and face future challenges bravely. Ambassador Chen also offered to teach Chinese at the university if needed, giving students confidence!

The organizers also invited representatives from the National Immigration Agency's Hsinchu City Squad, Hsinchu City Police Department's Third Precinct, and Hsinchu City Government Labor Affairs Department to explain important aspects of life in Taiwan, including traffic safety and fraud prevention, helping these students away from home adapt quickly to life in Taiwan and study happily and securely.!
