CHU International Academy's events get better every year. This year, nearly ten performances were arranged, including Japanese students showcasing their guitar skills and Vietnamese students forming male groups for emotional singing, giving the audience a feast for the eyes. Lili Huang, a student from Malaysia who has been at the school for just half a month, said she was delighted to enjoy her classmates' excellent performances and experience making Mid-Autumn Festival decorations and tasting delicious food. She felt the warmth and enthusiasm of the campus teachers and students. Mengsheng Wu from Vietnam mentioned that although Vietnam also has Mid-Autumn Festival customs, Taiwan's barbecue culture is quite special to him. Regarding mooncake flavors, while Taiwanese people mostly eat egg yolk pastries and taro pastries, durian-flavored mooncakes are common in Vietnam. He found it exciting and interesting to exchange festival customs with students from various countries and hopes for more such events in the future!
Hongnian Xie, CHU’s Vice President and Dean of International Affairs, stated that whether in Southeast Asia or Taiwan, we all admire the same bright moon. Although far from home, we are close at heart, and as long as we are connected, we are not alone. This year, most students are about to enter professional field studies. Although the learning journey is challenging, the fruits of their efforts will be sweet. Last year, many international senior students successfully found jobs in the Hsinchu Science Park, achieving their goals. The school's objective is to cultivate students into talented professionals in their respective fields, suitable for high-paying jobs in relevant industries!

Amy Chuang , Head of Student Affairs in the CHU International Foundation Program, mentioned that this event invited 181 students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Japan to participate. A series of exciting activities were planned to let foreign students feel the warmth of CHU. The school treats foreign students as its own. Recently, when Typhoon Mojay caused severe damage in northern Vietnam, the International Foundation Program took the opportunity to show concern for Vietnamese students, helping those in need to contact their families and understand the local situation, providing the maximum assistance possible to ensure that foreign students can study in Taiwan with peace of mind and learn happily!
