Guo Sili and Huang Weiliang, from the Department of Information Management at CHU, came from Malaysia. Seeing the development trends in the tech industry, they chose to study at CHU, the closest to Hsinchu Science Park. During their four years in CHU, they participated in project competitions together and obtained multiple professional certifications. Finally, after graduating this year, they both successfully interviewed and gained employment at the renowned IC manufacturer Phison Electronics Corp, fulfilling their dream! They will soon go to the Zhunan factory for training and are expected to return to work at the Malaysian factory in October.

Hongnian Xie, CHU’s Vice President and Dean of International Affairs, explained that CHU has been cooperating with the world-renowned database service provider "Oracle" for fourteen years, offering tutoring classes to students from all departments. To date, they have helped thousands of students obtain professional certifications for free. CHU provides rich learning resources to enhance workplace competitiveness, which has become an incentive for many students to study at CHU!

During their four years in college, the two were especially grateful for the guidance of Professor Chen Yunxuan on their project. Their team's "AI Eye Talk: Edge Computing-based Eye Position Recognition System" won third place in Group C of the university division at the 2023 National Information Management Advanced Technology Seminar and Project Competition, and also received a finalist certification at the TAAI Artificial Intelligence and Applications Seminar. This excellent performance was recognized externally, which greatly encouraged the two and gave them more confidence to enter the tech industry!

After graduating this year, Guo Sili and Huang Weiliang successfully interviewed at Phison Electronics, a major manufacturer of NAND Flash control ICs, and will soon start working at the company's Malaysian branch. They are overjoyed at the opportunity to join such a promising company. Huang Weiliang aims to emulate Taiwan's standards and hopes to contribute to Malaysia's tech industry with his knowledge. Guo Sili encourages juniors to actively learn and prepare early for their careers, saying, "Opportunities are reserved for those who are prepared!"
