With the development of Vietnam's Industry 4.0 policy, the local demand for high-tech talents in fields like artificial intelligence and semiconductors is strong. Recently, Mai Hung Dung, Chairman of the Standing Committee of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of Becamex IDC Group, and a team from Eastern International University (EIU) invested by the group visited CHU. They aim to promote exchanges and cultivate more industrial talents to meet future demands.

As the private university closest to the Hsinchu Science Park, CHU has geographical advantages and industry-academia collaborations with over 20 companies in the park, closely linked to industrial trends. President Victor Liu stated that the university's faculty and students interact closely with the park, keeping abreast of industrial trends. She welcomed the Binh Duong government and enterprises located in this technology hub to visit and exchange ideas. Having previously visited the Becamex IDC Group in Binh Duong, she was deeply impressed by the group's contributions to the local area and hopes this collaboration can bring mutual benefits.

Regarding Binh Duong's development, Chairman Mai Hung Dung said the province's growth rate is second only to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, attracting over 4,000 investment projects worth $42 billion globally. Taiwan accounts for the highest proportion with 880 projects. The government prioritizes high-tech education development. Although CHU has previously interacted with Binh Duong, this visit aims to establish collaborations with Eastern International University (EIU) in semiconductors, information engineering, and other fields to assist the province's future high-tech development.

EIU President Wu Ming-Te stated that the university has four departments: business administration, technology, information technology, and health sciences. Following local policy developments in AI, IoT, robotics, and smart manufacturing, they need Chung Hua University's assistance to jointly cultivate more professionals and address talent shortages. The university has also established cleanrooms and laboratories to enhance students' technical learning. Facing Industry 4.0 demands, Becamex IDC Group Chairman Nguyen Van Hung hopes to attract electronics and semiconductor talents and looks forward to upgrading services with CHU's support and assistance.
