[Dec 24th 2022]Eating tangyuan (sweey dumplings) to celebrate Christmas! CHU’s International students from Vietnam experience Taiwanese culture on Christmas Day.
Yesterday (23rd of December), CHU’s General Education Center held a tangyuan (Sweet dumpling)-tasting event to celebrate Christmas and invited more than 100 international students from Vietnam to experience Taiwanese culture. These Vietnamese students have prepared a large Christmas card to present to CHU’s Vice President and International Director Jie Hongnian, and everyone exchanged blessings at the party.
Photo1/ CHU’s Vice President and International Director Jie Hongnian stated that the International Extension Program was just established this year (2022) and in the hopes that Vietnamese students can learn Mandarin well in their first year at CHU and formally enroll in the university next year.
Photo2/ CHU’s Vietnamese students experienced winter solstice and Christmas in Taiwan for the first time and they felt it was fresh and special.
