The CHU Campus Job Fair kicked off today (30th) in a lively atmosphere, with 82 companies offering more than 9,000 job openings and salaries up to NT$70,000. Among them were 30 major companies from the Hsinchu Science Park, including TSMC, SiliconWare Precision Industries, and Wistron Corporation, coming to recruit on campus. With the flourishing development of the technology industry and the advantage of CHU's proximity to the Hsinchu Science Park, the incentives of working nearby, high salaries, and promising prospects have made the technology industry the most inquired about industry category at the event.

CHU President Victor Liu stated, "This is the 11th year we are holding the Campus Job Fair. We appreciate the guidance and support from the Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Branch of the Workforce Development Agency under the Ministry of Labor, the Labor Affairs Bureau of the Hsinchu City Government, the Hsinchu Employment Service Center, and all the company representatives. This year, we have received an enthusiastic response from companies, with 82 companies offering more than 9,000 job openings across industries like technology, construction, hospitality, and services to attract over 1,000 graduating students to apply. The salaries offered by technology companies are particularly attractive, catching the attention of many students. The university has taken proactive steps to arrange interdisciplinary courses for students, ensuring that all students have basic AI application abilities, enabling them to become talents sought after by companies after graduation."

Liu Yu-Yi, Deputy Director of the Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Branch of the Workforce Development Agency under the Ministry of Labor, stated that starting from March this year, the agency has been holding job fairs at various universities and colleges, with companies from sectors such as semiconductors, information and communications technology, and services offering a considerable number of job openings to recruit campus graduates. The agency has also proposed several programs aimed at helping students secure job opportunities, negotiate better salaries, and obtain permanent positions, with the hope that students can secure employment immediately after graduation. Hsinchu City Deputy Mayor Chiu Chen-Yuan mentioned that this year's campus job fair concludes at CHU. Today, he witnessed various industries actively recruiting talents, with some companies from Hsinchu County, such as Taiwan Silicon Semiconductor Corporation, offering high salaries of NT$70,000, targeting fresh graduates from CHU's College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He encouraged students to seize this opportunity, showcase their abilities, and bravely embark on their careers. As graduation approaches, the city government is also actively promoting awareness about job hunting scams and providing assistance to help students secure employment and become a strong support for them.

As the graduation season approaches, companies are going all out to recruit talents. Well-known corporations like TSMC, ITE Tech. Corp, Kinyo, and Wistron have released hundreds of job openings this year. Taiwan Silicon Semiconductor Corporation alone has 68 openings, including positions for instrumentation and electrical engineers, mechanical design engineers, and drafting engineers, with salaries up to NT$70,000. Tongli Optoelectronics is seeking 57 positions for engineers, warehouse managers, and technicians, and is additionally providing internship opportunities for fourth-year students majoring in science and engineering. Waxler Engineering, an industry leader in engineering consulting that signed an industry-academia collaboration with Chung Hua University in March this year, not only offers high MOU scholarships for students but also provides practical learning opportunities. In the hospitality industry, the International Youth Hostel Association of the Republic of China, which collaborates with CHU on an "employment program," will provide opportunities for full-time, part-time, and work-exchange accommodation positions for students to explore.

The campus job fair allows young people to directly understand the job requirements of companies and presents an excellent opportunity for them to showcase their strengths and compete for positions. Participants can look forward to plenty of giveaways, including 100 prizes to be drawn. To satisfy their appetites, there will be complimentary handmade snacks and bubble tea stalls. The university expresses its gratitude to the Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Branch of the Workforce Development Agency under the Ministry of Labor, the Labor Affairs Bureau of the Hsinchu City Government, the Hsinchu Employment Service Center, and all the company representatives for their guidance and support. This year, the university received an enthusiastic response from companies, with over a hundred companies vying for booths on campus. However, due to space limitations, the university had to select only 82 companies and 8 government booths to participate in the grand event.
