Taiwan's biggest national cheerleading championship has just concluded three days of competition on December 17th. CHU's competitive cheerleading team brought good news, winning 1 championship, 4 silver, 2 bronze and 1 fourth place with outstanding results. In addition, CHU also won championships in the college football league, 4-college-5-school women's volleyball tournament, and individual swimming events by defeating strong opponents, fully demonstrating CHU students' sunny and youthful spirit of "strong physique".

CHU's competitive cheerleading team has performed outstandingly for a long time. There are as many as 10 national team members representing Taiwan in competitions. Under the guidance of national team coaches, students have won awards in past competitions repeatedly. For example, this October they represented Taiwan in the Asian Cheerleading Championship in Bali, Indonesia and won the silver medal, attracting attention in the sports community. At the National Cheerleading Championship in December, CHU's team led many freshmen (non-physical education majors) to make their debut and swe pt eight awards impressively. The students won bronze medals in the Open Pom Category and silver medals in the College Partner Stunt Group. They also won silver and fourth place in the two College Open Individual Tumbling Groups, bronze medal in the Coed College Open Group Stunt, silver medals in both the College Cheer Category and the College Open Coed Group Stunt. In addition, CHU student Chen-Yi Liu partnered with coach Yuan-Tang Zeng to compete in the Open Coed Partner Stunt and won the championship. The students managed to achieve remarkable results in competitions while balancing their studies, making the most of practice time after class. This brought glory to CHU and made all faculty members proud!
