The first class of graduates from the 3+1 International Tourism and Hotel Management Dual Bachelor's Degree Program, jointly run by CHU's College of Tourism and the century-old University of Sunderland in the UK, completed their studies and successfully obtained dual degrees from Taiwan and the UK this summer.

Dean Chang explained that students in the Taiwan-UK dual degree program study at CHU for the first 3 years, then go to the UK for the 4th year. Upon graduation, they can obtain diplomas from both Taiwan and the UK. The curriculum is jointly developed by faculty from both universities and taught in English. After graduation, students can continue their studies or work for international chain brands in the UK.
