Fourteen Japanese students from the Depart. Smart Business at CHU went to the nearby Kabo Community in Hsinchu City yesterday (30) to participate in the winter harvest celebration. In addition to singing and dancing on stage, they also took the opportunity to experience the Taiwanese farming life. The group walked through the fields cutting rice, catching loach, making red turtle rice cake and tasting Hakka food mochi, they sure fully experienced Hakka culture.
