Free short-term study abroad for freshman year

In the freshman year, students can also receive full subsidy from the school to travel to East Asian and Southeast Asian countries for short-term study abroad to cultivate international awareness.

Guaranteed monthly salary of at least 31,000 NT dollars

Students who study and pass CHU’s "Sunshine youth, Innovation, and π Chu Hua" program can get a guaranteed monthly salary of at least 31,000 NT dollars. If the monthly salary is less than 31,000 NT dollars, the difference will be made up by the school's special funds.

Therefore, CHU utilizes these five guidelines as the core, combined with the design of curriculum and extracurricular activities, to nurture students to become positive, balanced and well developed sunny youths.

Cross-field talent training is particularly important today. In addition to diversified channels to cultivate cross-field capabilities, CHU also cooperates with enterprises to launch a number of cross-field employment programs. Chung Hua University has the first AI+ center, and which bringing the world's latest AI applications to campuses, creating scenarios such as smart access control, smart restaurants, smart retail, and smart buildings, and combining AI with the majors of various colleges and departments to create the application field and customized practical exercises enable students to have a certain level of AI artificial intelligence application capabilities.

Chung Hua University provides high-quality teaching with "AI as the core" and combines teaching with professional information fields such as the College of Computer Sciences and Electrical Engineering, the College of Management, the College of Architecture and Design, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the College of Tourism to train interdisciplinary talents with AI application capabilities. CHU also provides an iTAC Exclusive Learning Portfolio, which enables students to adapt to International Mobility, Transdisciplinary Skills, and Artificial Intelligence. Three levels of cross-field information digitization courses

With the advent of the new digital era, Taiwan’s software engineering talent gap has reached 27,000. On average, each engineer has more than 3 job opportunities. The school is designed with three levels of basic, advanced, and lean-level courses to cultivate cross-field digital talent.

Build School-Software Develop Training Program

There are many interdisciplinary learning opportunities in the school. For example, “Build School-Software Develop Training Program” is the most popular software development training courses that are open to all students, regardless of the different departments, and students can register free of charge. The "Build School-Software Develop Training Programming Course" is taught by Chung Hua University’s specially-appointed industry technical directors. It consists of 600 hours of implementation-oriented learning, using popular applications like Facebook and Uber as implementation projects to cultivate software design talents. There is no student limit. All departments can participate in the training for free.

Career Placement Service Center that Lead to Success

Chung Hua University has a career placement service center which is specifically designed to assist students with honing their job skills, identifying and working toward career goals, finding suitable careers, getting referrals to employers, and boosting networking skills. The Center for Career Education helps students and alumni to develop the key competencies necessary to make informed decisions and take the necessary steps to achieve their career goals. CHU’s career placement service center also provides job interview training, one-on-one career counseling and resume development, apprenticeship programs, and employment-related workshops for students. In addition, CHU’s career placement service center establishes connections and facilitates interaction among undergraduate students, graduate students, alumni, employers, and organizations to generate opportunities that help students pursue their personal and professional objectives.  All these factors contribute to the likelihood of CHU students finding high paying jobs.
