[May 16th, 2022] The founder of Aiheng thanks his alma mater for cultivating disabled learners.
Dai Yaosai is the founder of Hsinchu City Aiheng Disability sheltered and educational special needs Center. He is an alumnus of the MBA class of Chung Hua University. Cai Mingchun, the instructor at the time, not only inspired him a lot in his studies, but later personally led the team and led the students to completely transform the " Man FairSheltered Workshop " which was established a few years ago, and under their guidance the sales of coffee have greatly increased. Dai Yaosai recalled this full of emotion and gratitude.
Dai Yaosai pointed out that Professor Cai Mingchun also assisted “Manfeier Coffee” to apply for the certification mark of the International Fair Trade Organization, becoming the second certified coffee operator in Taiwan, and more actively marketing the concept of "one cup of coffee, three cares". It is emphasized that drinking coffee can achieve three meanings including "protecting job opportunities for the disabled", "supporting fair trade to help small farmers", and "caring for ecology and supporting organic cultivation".
Dai Yaosai got into a community college at the age of 43, an undergraduate school at the age of 46, and a graduate school at the age of 50. Therefore, he would like to encourage people, as long as they dare to start, they will not be afraid of being too late.
In the past two years, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, Aiheng's social donations and self-employed living income have dropped sharply, but Dai Yaosai is still struggling. He hopes his center can be continued without being affected by the epidemic, and even hopes to establish the second special needs center to help more disabled friends. However, Aiheng is currently renting the other sites except the agricultural land of his Integrated Vocational Rehabilitation Services Centre on Tianfu Road, Hsinchu City, which was donated by a kind-hearted retired soldier. Dai Yaosai hope more people have spare space or houses, they can also provide or donate them for Aiheng to use, so that everyone can work together to help others.
