[April 29th, 2022] The School of Management of Chung Hua University, Haishuo Energy and XRA International Engineering cooperated to establish the first wind power center in northern Taiwan.

In response to the development of the government's offshore wind power industry and the shortage of offshore wind power talents, the School of Management of Chung Hua University, together with Haishuo Energy, established an offshore wind power talent training center in Hsinchu to provide localized training services for the offshore wind power industry in preparation for the rapid development of Taiwan's offshore wind power development.

Chung Hua University School of Management, Haishuo Energy, and XRA Extreme International Engineering jointly signed the "Offshore Wind Power Talent Training Center Cooperation Agreement" on April 28, declaring that they will combine their respective advantages and resources to work together to train talents in the offshore wind power industry, so as to provide Taiwan with the cultivation and development of offshore wind power talents.

Haishuo Energy is a local professional offshore wind power operation and maintenance company in Taiwan. In addition to providing offshore wind power underwater foundation, submarine cable, offshore substation inspection and maintenance, and offshore "wind, wave, current" observation and "climate window" forecasting services, it also provides logistics management services for offshore wind power storage.

Haishuo Energy also specially hired Andrew Blizzard, the former general manager of Australian wind training company Skylars, as a consultant to accelerate the construction of the wind training center. Skylars is the largest wind power talent training company in Australia. It currently has wind training centers in Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam, and has trained more than 1,200 people so far.

From 2022 to 2025, Taiwan will enter the peak period of offshore wind power construction. Wind farms such as WPD Yuneng Wind Farm, Shangwei New Energy Formosa II, CIP Zhangfang, and Xidao are all under construction. The Hsinchu Wind Training Center will provide GWO-BST training initially, and will provide GWO-BTT offshore wind power professional training programs in the future. In addition to being able to immediately enter the offshore wind power industry during the construction phase from 2022 to 2025, it will also provide a platform for Taiwan's future offshore wind power industry.
