Department and Graduate School of Computer Science & Information Engineering

The research fields include: computer theory, computer graphics, image processing, parallel & distributed system, computer network, VLSI design and testing, human-machine interface, computer theory and management, etc.

The curricula put emphasis on the following three tracks: information engineering of hardware and software, computer theory, and computer management. In addition, our programs combine theory and practice to equip students with what is needed in their future careers.

Department and Graduate School of Information Management

The research field of the Department of Information Management covers multi-media system, network management, database management, Internet application, and so on.

The curriculum of equally- emphasized theories and principles focuses on the managerial knowledge and its application to information system so students can get a balanced development of information science and management.

As for practical training, the department seizes every cooperation opportunity with related organizations or businesses to enrich students' practical experiences and cultivate them to be professionals in the field of information management.

Department of Bioinfomatics

Founded in 2003, the Department of Bio-informatics aimes to cultivate specialists in bio-informatics, trying to make contribution to booming bio-technological industries in Taiwan. All of our full-time teachers are all experienced scholars in theories and practices in bio-informatics and computing engineering.

With the completion of genome sequencing, bio-informatics has become the most important topic in global technological researches in the 21st century. Combination of bio-informatics and information technology is an inevitable trend in future technology.
